I've actually cancelled my plans for tonight because a) it's freaking cold and b) I've just reached that magical moment in The Knife where I'm hooked. I have to stay in and read it while the boy is safely at work and I can get a few solid hours in!Rhiannon Harthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03611927348379723038noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-109955980329789216.post-10874959163246603372009-08-06T13:49:42.430+10:002009-08-06T13:49:42.430+10:00Oh, nice catch there :)

Can't wat to see what you think of the rest of the series!

And I really, really enjoyed The Knife of Never Letting Go. It's hard to get into the spelling and voice of the main character, but it really grows on you. Plus, the futuristic/dystopian/sci-fi thing is always fun :)

AND finally - AHA! I thought I was the only person in the universe that really didn't like Anne Bishop's Black Jewels trilogy! Mary Sue, much? Every other review I've stumbled upon online has been gushing with fangirly praise, and I honestly don't get it.Theahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11138984974139025278noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-109955980329789216.post-62331863067255370912009-08-03T11:02:35.617+10:002009-08-03T11:02:35.617+10:00I haven't read either of those two! I picked up the first in Ann Bishop's Daughter of the Blood trilogy recently and didn't like it. What's Belgariad/Mallorean? I might try that, and Forsyth's books.Rhiannon Harthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03611927348379723038noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-109955980329789216.post-16710643194353100492009-08-03T10:34:06.970+10:002009-08-03T10:34:06.970+10:00That Poison series is one of my favourite series i...That Poison series is one of my favourite series in fantasy of all time now! It's in third place after Belgariad/Mallorean and Kate Forsyth's Witches of Eileanan series. (although I always get the spelling wrong on Eileanan!).cathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02878091225039313160noreply@blogger.com
